The ROOST

The Wade Creek House is a creative place where old and new is valued.  Here you will find artists, crafters, and collectors who come together to sell their wares and share their talents with the community. Our member merchants offer a wide variety of gifts, furnishings, and décor including antique furniture, vintage collectibles, jewelry, soaps, candles and novelties. You’re invited to meet Our Members and learn about their crafts and collections.

Recent addition of the ROOST has almost doubled our retail space. In the ROOST, members have individual rooms for display of their items for sale. With this additional space you will see more furniture and larger country décor on display.

Special Events scheduled throughout the year highlight the talents and interests of our members. The Wade Creek House Garden Calendar, available now, shows our schedule of events for the entire year. Of course as enthusiasm grows for our new, heated, classroom in the ROOST, additional classes and workshops may be added. Again this year, Nikki Mantei has several gardening workshops planned from Raised Bed Gardening to Concrete Leaf Casting. Deb Ingamells is teaching a Block-A-Month quilting class that promises to be productive and a lot of fun on Wednesday evening each month. And Linda Bonner continues her popular "make it yourself" outdoor decoration workshops in spring and fall. From holiday wreaths to spring color, Linda provides all the expertise and supplies you need to share a good time with friends and take home a unique decoration for your porch, patio or front door.

The members of The Wade Creek House have shown their commitment to the Estacada community by hosting a number of community fundraisers at the shop to benefit the likes of the Estacada Food Bank, the Estacada Skateboard Park, and the Estacada Senior Center. In April 2009 a $5 Bike and Board Helmet Sale offered families an opportunity to outfit the kids, Mom and Dad with life saving helmets provided by a grant from Legacy Health.
